Derix Healthcare Pharmacy is a family-run community pharmacy based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Founded in 2007, the business provides NHS dispensing, Pharmacy First consultations, vaccinations and new medicine support for the local community. With 17 staff members and more than 100 customer transactions on a typical day, the pharmacy needed a system that could support growth without taking time away from patient care.
The Challenge
Before Clover, the pharmacy relied on a manual till system that made everyday updates slow and repetitive. Products had to be priced individually with price guns, and even small pricing updates could take around 30 minutes.
